After we got married, we plan for our next goal in life and that is to build our own family, meaning to have a baby. We are so excited to see our bundle of joy that’s why we decided to asked for help with OB gyne doctor. Actually, ever since I was in High School, my monthly period is irregular; sometimes I got my period every other month and so when I turned college, I decided to consult a doctor. They found out that I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a common endocrine disorder of some females. This is a hormonal disorder and one of the leading causes of infertility, the reproductive aspects of the disorder are secondary.
If you have PCOS, you will experience, irregular or no menstrual periods monthly which causes irregular ovulation. My OB Gyne doctor recommends me to take pills every month to correct my period, so from 1st year college until I got engaged, I'm taking medication every month until last year my Neuro doctor recommends to stop it due to my “Panic Attack”. My OB doctor is very accommodating, easy to talk with, and she will explain every detail to you. She monitors my PCOS and prescribes me some medicines to reliefs my PCOS. Every month, I undergo transvi at Makati Medical Center to check if there’s any improvement about my PCOS but sad to say di sila nawawala.. Hayz!
We’re married for almost 9 months and we decided to be more serious in having a child. We are now ready to face another chapter in our life. I told my doctor that we will do anything to improve my situation. So now, we’re taking our 1st step in our session.
I will post another article about my follice monitoring (3 sessions). So please guys, include us in your prayers. Thank you so much!
Good luck with your project! I, too, was diagnosed with PCOS but I think sa left side lang so I still get my period each month. Anyway, I know the stress that comes from worrying whether or not you will be able to conceive that month. Prayers, dear. And believe that God will give you and your hubby your little angel in His most perfect time! :)
