Bubba Gump @ The Peak

Our first day in Hong Kong is memorable for both of us even though the government declared signal no. 1 when we arrived, we make it a point to maximize our trip. After we explore Madame Tussauds and before we finally decided to experience the Peak, Ian opted to have our dinner first at Bubba Gump. We already tried this restaurant in Greenbelt 3 during our monthsary celebration and I can say that nothing can beat the scrumptious shrimps that they offer. We were greeted by a nice waitress and keep us waiting for 5 minutes while other staff fixes our table.

Bubba Gump is located on top of the Peak tram station and has a superb view of Hong Kong Island. The restaurants have many memorabilia of the movie which is very fantastic! We were seated by the window which overlooks the Hong Kong with attractive lights of the numerous buildings. The scenery was really amazing; it was a nice sight to behold.

beautiful scenery were we seated

Since we were starving after exploring Madame Tussauds, we immediately placed our orders. Ian ordered for Shrimper's Heaven as our main course. If you're a shrimp lover like us, well better try this one too. They have 4 different ways of cooking the shrimps which Ian and I really enjoyed. It includes dynamite shrimp, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp and hush pups plus delightful dippin' sauces makes our dinner superb! The coconut shrimp were quite plump; the deep fried shrimp with desiccated coconut was good while they also served us chilled prawns which we immediately ask to take it home for our breakfast the following day.

Shrimper's Heaven HK$ 188.00

We ordered two plain Jasmin rice for us (HK$ 28.00/each) then Ian opted to have refillable iced tea (HK$28.00) for his drinks while I chose to have a glass of water.
